Melina Matsoukas is a director of commercials, music videos, TV, and film. She won Grammys for her music videos “We Found Love” and “Formation” and directed episodes of Issa Rae’s critically acclaimed HBO show Insecure. In 2019 she released her first feature film, Queen and Slim, starring Daniel Kaluuya and Jodie Turner-Smith as a couple who goes on the run after shooting a police officer.
