Rachael Abigail Holder is a first-­generation Guyanese American playwright and filmmaker from New York. Her short-­form comedy series I Love Bekka & Lucy, developed by Warner Bros., premiered at SXSW and was nominated for an Emmy. Love, Brooklyn, starring André Holland, Nicole Beharie, and DeWanda Wise, is her feature film directorial debut.
