MOON is an independent filmmaker based in Atlanta, known for her viral, award-winning fantasy series Juju: The Web Series. Her work draws from her Chinese Jamaican heritage and experience as a young mother and Black Woman in America. Since 2018, she has written, directed, and produced acclaimed short films and digital series through her company, Filled With Magic Productions. Her projects have been featured at prestigious film festivals like the American Black Film Festival, Tribeca Film Festival,, Big Sky Documentary Film Festival, and Miami Film Festival.
Moon’s latest project, Skettel, is a proof-of-concept for her semi-autobiographical feature about Marley, a single mother navigating life in Atlanta. The film has been recognized in over 25 festivals and won eight awards, starring Alicia Pilgrim (A Thousand and One).
Moon has also contributed to network shows, such as Street Food (Netflix) and The 1619 Project (Hulu), as well as short documentaries. Her recent film on Brehanna Daniels, NASCAR's first Black woman pit crew member, won several awards, including the Audience Award at the 2023 Blackstar Film Festival.
Committed to amplifying underrepresented voices, Moon wants to continue creating art that tells meaningful, magical stories.
